X38's are almost as good as P35's but not quite. Could be a ram limitation though but I doubt it no BSOD's at 480fsb just utter instability. Oh, the first affordable Dual core CPU. ^ Doesn't realize I was referring to it's overclocking potential, and if overclocked to 4.2GHz was capable of destroying almost anything AMD had at that point in time. Compxpert Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 ^ needs to help me break this OC barrier I have found. Cannot seem to achieve 4.2 with reasonable volts.... Similar configs have easily gone to 4.5 with as much volts I'm using now.... <_< Either CPU limit due to heat or mobo limit and for now (until I get my Ultra 120 Extreme) I'm leaning toward mobo.
