Crow47 Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 I'm rather looking forward to the 9600GT. That'll provide at the very least as good performance for me, if not better, in a very cost-effective package. Though depending on how much the 9800GT is, I may do that. oralpain Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 9800 line looks to be not much more than G92 GPUs with a few revisions. 8900 would have been a more apt name.
Systemlord Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 8900 would have been a more apt name. I totally agree, the 9800 line should at least be 2x times more powerful than the older line of graphics card.

ir_cow Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 i like the video encoding part, i hope Adobe jumps right on this and it just might make me buy an 9800 "support DirectX 10.1 feature-set along with powerful video encoding engine and post-processor"
Systemlord Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 (edited) i like the video encoding part, i hope Adobe jumps right on this and it just might make me buy an 9800"support DirectX 10.1 feature-set along with powerful video encoding engine and post-processor" Does the Post-Processor have anything to do with Post-Processing graphic setting in Crysis or other games?
