D_Bat Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 Everybody talks about the Logitechs... what about Kplisch?? They make an awesome speaker set. Is anybody running those, the Kplisch Promedia 5.1??? I personally love their speakers but I haven't heard them beside a set of Logitechs.

MadMan Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 I just recently bought the Logitech Z-5500's off of ebay for 270 and they are totally worth it...I was going to buy klipsch promedia but they were just too much...all were 300+...I currently live in a dorm and people 2 floors above me hear my speakers when I turn them up....they don't just hear them their entire floors rumble...so if your looking for a nice loud set I would suggest the Z-5500's
Gremlin Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 Logitech are THX certified. Logitech Z5500 allready have digital input's where Klipisch (sp?) does not. You have to spend another $100 for it. I have the 5500 and they rock
Cyberfury Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 Yep the 5500s are AWESOME, but the 5300s are good and fall within this guy's price range - THEREFORE, go with the 5300s.
GameGuru1 Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 I went from "acceptable" onboard audio to my Audigy 2 ZS, and the difference is night and day, even without ultimate high end speakers of kickassery.
yatstv Posted April 24, 2005 Posted April 24, 2005 well i still stand by what i brought, the creative ( cambridge soundworks ) 2.1 THX 350W RMS, they DO kick butt, i dont think u would realy need 5.1 for your PC unless u dont mind spending that much money and would be sill as u wouldnt use it for films much as u have a 5.1 home theatre system with you TV. but its entirely up to you.
