O(V)eGA_l2el) Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 692g is ridiculous, and would put much strain on the socket if the case was used up-right.
fastvfr Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 Thermaltake makes some of the best cases on the market, especially for the price... However, the two things to NEVER buy from Thermaltake: PSU's and any type of CPU cooling. Hell, I guarantee my 'little' 120mm Zalman CNPS7700-Cu will do a better job of cooling than that...thing. Some other Tt Blunders: The Beetle (the HORROR) The Tower (LEANING Tower, perhaps?!?) And now...this. Words fail me.

slayer2cool Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 lol alot of Tt bashing going on eh it isnt that heavy as compared to coolermaster hyper 6 1 kg heatsink but then again, that thing is taller and bigger.. lol
drewkivela Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 it should come with a specially modified case door with holes for the towers, looks like that thing would stickout 2 inches. -drew

hardnrg Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 LMFAO... i think some of the designers and people who make the market research decisions are actually working undercover for another company because Tt hasn't brought out a decent cooler for years... the Volcano 12 was a very decent hs and produced very good cooling results when lapped and running at high speed... my Silent Boost performs very well after i lapped it, put a duct on it, and replaced the fan with a high airflow one... so basically it's not really a Silent Boost at all now lol these passive monstrosities first make me laugh and then wonder what the hell Tt are up to... the beetle is a complete rip off of the Asus Star Ice...
