As for suing GOD... there was a comedy movie, starring Billy Connolly (Scottish comedian) called "the man who sued God..." The general gist was... fishing boat struck by lightening, insurance company claiming damage was an "Act of God..." (therefor not covered)... claimant launches suit against 'the Church' (earthbound represenatatives of GOD)...
