Alright, basically, list all the stuff for the ultimate gaming rig. List the price of each item and the total price. What do I mean by ultimate? Anything, (fast, light, cheap, expensive, etc).

If your going for the ultimate go for The 6800 Ultra 4 the shaders 3.0 you will be happier.......

I dont wanna hijack the thread but i read a review somewhere which stated that the X800 had a small lead over the 6800 by a few frames or whatever until you started messing with the features.. Then the 6800 caught up with the x800 but it still was an even match.

well i'd wait until the beginning of june and go with the 6800 Ultra ($500) and then go for the new highend FX that will be released (with the new socket....759? 957? whatever the # is)...should be about $1k for the cpu.

Don't know any mobo's for that yet though.

And i'd go with liquid cooling....so figure another ~$150

I'm confused on "4 2GB (1GBx2) Corsair XMS DDR 3200- $2,276.00". Do you mean 4 sticks of 1GB memory? Either way, $2200 for memory??? are you insane? I don't care if you're building an ultimate gaming rig or not, there's no game that'll utilize 4GB of memory.
