Unofficial BEEEEEER Thread

Pretty much any micro brew will do for me.

Sam Adams

Flat Tire

Blue Moon

Guinness

I think Flat Tire is the only actual micro brew there.

and I'm not being a beer snob, I like all kinds of beer. :P

The hoppier the better!

I love hops, but I hate overly hoppy beer.

Do any of you guys like IPA.

It is definitely an acquired taste, just note that IPA does NOT mean that it is super hoppy.

There are some very flavorful 'balanced' but still hoppy beers out there.

There was a time Sam Adams was a Micro brew!  Those were not listed as micro brews but my go to's here in town.

I think you guys mean Fat Tire, not Flat Tire. :teehee:

Personally not a big fan of Fat Tire though, I feel like I'm drinking a biscuit. I do love New Belgium though, my favorites by them so far are Trippel and Abbey.

I don't know about the micro part but I would still consider Sam Adams to be a craft beer brewer. I personally like their Cream Stout and enjoyed their Oktoberfest. They seem to focus on lagers a lot though and I'm not a fan of lagers so I don't drink Sam Adams often.

Guinness makes good beer if you actually get their good beer. Guinness Draught is nasty I think, I feel like I'm drinking some kind of watery mud. Their Extra Stout isn't bad though. I've heard they make a lot of other good beers that aren't well known. There's a guy that gets their non-alcoholic beer, Kaliber, by the case weekly at my store, I figure it must taste good if he's willing to drink so much non-alcoholic beer.

A Pilsner Urquell is pretty nice, Peroni is a little too watery in my opinion. But then again I am a North German, which means I like my beers a little stronger in taste
