bp9801 Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 PowerColor Devil 13 HD 7990 video card announced! Two Tahiti XT cores on one PCB, which is essentially two HD 7970 cores. Each one runs at 925MHz, while the card's total amount of 6GB GDDR5 memory at 1375MHz (5500MHz effective). Three fans and two heat pipes keep everything cool on this monster of a card. Pricing and release date were not revealed at this time. At least an 850W PSU is required to run this beast. It requires three 8-pin PCIe power connectors, too. Who wants one? Tjj226_Angel Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Kind of wish it was 12GB of Vram (6GB per card). It would have made this card an awesome multi monitor gaming card.

bp9801 Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 It is 6 GB per card... Well, by definition yeah, but each GPU should only have 3GB of RAM to pull from. If you mean 6GB per card as "this 7990 has 6GB total," then that is correct (based on specs).
CheeseMan42 Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 That is huge, takes up three slots. Way overkill for playing TF2 so I don't need it.
