@Psywar... yep actually saw some of these pictures while looking around yesterday! Waco has painted a car this way before so I at least have that advantage.

The primer is on and the first coat of orange is going to be on this afternoon! Pictures coming!! Promise. :D

Since this thread should have some pictures... here's a few from the last two days:

Yesterday we took off all the badges and gave her a nice bath... then we scuffed up the paint to take primer today. :D

This morning Waco fixed a couple spots on the bumper since it was missing some chunks of paint... yay for plastic bumper :P

The rear of the car with no more chevy badges -- had to put in some rivets on the right thanks to the dealer mounting their dealer badges.

About an hour of taping up the headlights, windows, tail lights, and everything I don't want to be ORANGE.

Mask those wheels with some garbage bags before you get any more paint on them!

Unless you're going to grab a new set of tires in the process of course.

Yeah, i also like to work on cars bare foot.

Until the pavement becomes a bit hot in the lovely 80+ weather we have been having. :D At least it's good weather for painting.

Only got a tiny bit of primer on them no big deal, nice and soft will come of with a wash and drive. Have hub caps to put back on anyway. The rest of the paint is being applied with rollers so I'm not worried about any more paint getting on them -- only reason I didn't care about masking them up in the first place.

Second coat will go on this afternoon -- I'll have some updated pictures, as it progressively becomes orange.
