IVIYTH0S Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Well I wish I could be excited to now have my new 5970 but I've run into a problem. IT'S TOO LONG!! 1. I can either cut the case's hdd section out a bit to get it to fit. 2. Get a new case (really don't want to) 3. Sell the 5970, and use the $$ to buy two 6850s and CF them. 4. Sell the 5970, and use the $$ to buy two 460 1GBs and SLI them (possibly the two Wev is selling) 5. Sell the 5970, and use the $$ to buy the 6950 2GB and unlock it to a 6970. Twenty-five minutes with a hack saw and I bet you can make a slot in that HDD cage big enough for it to fit in! You've ghettoized that case this far, you really aren't going to give up now are you? If I were broke and not wanting to spend the cash on a case I would just cut it. Now that I know your case is ghettofied, I say cut it now!
