dr_bowtie Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 I am not going to worry about what AMD is going to release/fix anymore.... they have released a statement that was posted on Yahoo over the weekend that they are NOT going worry about nor compete with Intel any longer in the CPU/PC class and move their main focus elsewhere....right now I think they've had a few COEs that have had no real Direction and with Dirk being the best they have had in a good while they have went down hill after that.... their best bet now is to focus on the APU stuff and catch up as they planned to do...we will see where the future takes them and I hope now it in a good direction...Their current CEO seems to have some promise and I hope that holds true... DanTheGamer11 Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Yeah they want to move onto HSA(probably so they don't need to develop a much stronger CPU) and it might be good but I just hope that it isn't let down by the software manufacturers... Their APUs are doing great and if they specialize in low energy high performance I'm sure that would have a good effect on the Desktop segment.
