Muchoman1 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 (edited) http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/4741334 P 8601 Not bad for a lan rig testing my new 660ti EDIT Hitting 1320 boost so far, only been ocing for a few min Stock cpu is really dragging it down, am swapping to a different system with an overclocked i7 (still on a ITX board) Edited October 24, 2012 by Muchoman1
olokul Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Those 660 ti scores just arn't right. I had to push my 950 and 580 to the limit just to get close to P8000, the 660 ti do it with out sweating it.
El_Capitan Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 The GTX 660 Ti's aren't that powerful, but it does a decent job. P9086

Yeah, my i7 is currently stock (3.4 ghz), will OC that soon when i get a decent cooler on it. I swapped my 580 for this 660ti, and am very pleased The GTX 660 Ti's aren't that powerful, but it does a decent job. P9086 Pretty darn powerful for the price though My gpu score is higher, but the stock CPU is holding it back What cpu/gpu clocks? EDIT: And i dont think that you can call any card that gets over 9k p score "not that powerful" Edited October 24, 2012 by Muchoman1
El_Capitan Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 (edited) Pretty darn powerful for the price though My gpu score is higher, but the stock CPU is holding it back What cpu/gpu clocks? Well, I got my GTX 660 Ti for $225 (where it should be), and my HD 7850's for $153. The HD 7850 keeps up in 3DMark11, but kills the GTX 660 Ti in Unigine Heaven (ignore the "Stock" in paint, never updated it to say "OC"). P8696 Tests done with an i7 2700K at 4.9GHz. The GTX 660 Ti only gets to 1215MHz Core Clock (Boost) and 1572MHz for Memory. Edited October 24, 2012 by El_Capitan
Erosannin Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 (edited) El Capitan have you seen the clocks on my GTX 660 Ti? I was able to reach 1235MHz Core Clock (before Boost) and 1424MHz Core Clock (boost) with a max Memory speed of 1752MHz all that perfectly stable to play all games I have. So saying that this card is not a powerful card is kind of wrong. It can accomplish very good FPS and scores. Yep, my MSI power edition is currently running at nearly 1400mhz boost, with more tweaking ill surely break the 1400 mark, so your overclock is quite low
