Andrewr05 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Andrew you have this score mixed up His 5850 should be in the position he is in just under my single GTX 460 score, but it is doubled with his 12k GTX 480 score, and not his 10k 5850 score! I'm lost Where should it be?
Nyt Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 dosent looks like much of a gain tbh The benchmark seems to not be tri-fire optimised .

Speedway Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 I'm lost Where should it be? Ok, he scored a 12433 with his GTX 480 - this score is 4th on the single GPU list just as it is supposed to be But, his HD 5850 score (12th score on the Single list) is 12433 also, so when you went to update his new GTX 480 score you also switched his HD 5850 score with the same 12433, which is his GTX 480 score! See what I'm saying now
Speedway Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 The benchmark seems to not be tri-fire optimised . This is the same thing I found out when using a 5970 CF with a 5870! When it comes to Voltages on OC, I will give them as much as I can as long as the temps stay in my confort level
Nyt Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 have you had a crack at heaven or crysis yet? Yeah , my 5970 at 850mhz core and 1200mhz scored like 44FPS and with my new setup with the 5970 stock at 725mhz and 1000mhz and the 5870 at 900mhz and 1200mhz , it scored 60FPS. But my psu isn't suplying enough power to the cards to get some serious oc on them , the extra voltage to get over 900mhz and 1250mhz isn't worth it. Yeah , next upgrades for me = New PSU and new cooling (eventually) Actually, I just hit 72FPS in Heaven at 900mhz and 1200mhz on all three cards . Temps were pretty good , 70 degrees constant on the first core and 60 degrees on the second and third cores at an ambiant temp of around 25.
