How often do you reboot / restart your primary computer?

I usually restart it every few months. I allow my PC to be on because electricity is really inexpensive in Taiwan. On average, I pay about 60 USD every two months, so my total would be around 360USD/year. Damn that is cheap I'm sure you guys must be jealous.

I turn it off when I sleep because folding refuses to work.

Usually once a day depending on how windows feels like behaving. Home machines are always off until I need to turn them on.

I turn my PC off every night. I suppose that's because it is in my room and I couldn't sleep with it on

 

The only other time I usually restart my computer is before I start playing a game or after installing software and it requires a restart.

Does Hibernation count? Cause my Laptop basically only goes to hibernate, I only reboot that like once to twice a month. That was my primary computer for a long time, but then now I have my rig. I shut that off once or twice a day, so I voted several times.

I turn it on in the evening, up the fan speeds and leave it folding overnight and usually turn it of when I go to work in the morning.

I only reboot when required by an update or driver install (which is rare these days). A handful of times per year.

 

My router/VPN box hasn't been turned off (or hell...touched) in about 8 months. I think I rebooted it last week to install an update though.
