Andrewr05 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Even my crappy Kodak easyshare C643 allows 4 second exposures: <---I burnt my hand doing that... <----Escaped without any crisp on that shot. <--- I'm only an apprentice, so what if my fire bolt isn't as big as yours? <--- What you thought it only came out of my hand? <---Flicking a lighter around, actually turned out kinda neat... I could only get an 'A' in the shot...

hardnrg Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 the Coolpix L12 can do 4 or 5 seconds (I forget which is the max)... maybe try the night landscape or fireworks modes in a pitch black room, without the torch/led/flashlight alight

mikeock Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 (edited) You can also use light painting to do some very unique lighting in photos. The chair was done with a cell phone screen. The other was done with a flash light. I have a few more but will need to dig them out Edited March 31, 2009 by mikeock

jammin Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 I've seen some nice photos from light projected onto surfaces rather than pointed at the lens. Anywho, a bit more playing around tonight. I need to find some more light sources I think.
Andrewr05 Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 It seems like someone who had a couple different colored LEDs could make a pretty neat light painter...
