robAP Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 i found a 3.5" disk of "wolfenstein 3d". and that was fun for a while, and then in the same shoe box was the original "Descent" and "Space Marines". space marines didnt work anymore, something with one of the 5 install disks. I'd like to find my old box of 5-1/4 disks, grab a 5-1/4 floppy drive out of my dad's 486 he still has under his desk and see what i can copy onto CD and still play. dsfdewrew Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 <<< Any surprise? I mean really. If it wasn't a DOS game I'd find a copy of Privateer II. I'm probably going to try Diablo again at some point. I never played FarCry due to having ancient computer when it came out so I may see if I can find a cheap copy of that lying around. good , and i still played the silkroad game , and i think it is a good game for me , and i can get pleasure from it , and it is the good game and a free one for me ,
xPETEZx Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Played through the original Command & Conquer a few weeks back. DAM that game is hard!! Some of the missions I swear you cant beat without the sand-bag walls!! Other than that, the oldest games I play are HL2DM and abit of C&C Generals ZH. Silverfox Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 I have the original Soldier of Fortune (found it!) and it runs on Vista ... but with dirty glitchy textures Anyone got a suitable solution to get Vista to play ball? It's running on compatibility mode already etc.
