WOOHOOO UPDATE GOT NEW "REAL JOB"!

Hired on as a Data processing/recovery specialist for a company that processes hardcopy to digital media. Company deals with major law firms nationwide doing the "paperwork" for litigation, data discovery/recovery, and other details I don't feel like listing right now. I just might be able to apply what I have picked up in Computer Forensics and apply some of it to the real world. Had an hour + first interview, and 45 minute second interview.

No more Wal-mart, K-mart, school computer lab (though its nice to get paid to flirt, surf the net, and do school work :D !

Okay so here is my resume.

Went into the Army after Highschool, got sent home with bad knees, worked as a laborer/landscaper/retail (shudder), was in a car accident (broken neck), so I can't do anything physically demanding, so got into building PC's. Just trying to find something that will let me do that alot, and get paid for it.

Work part time in the school computer lab, (get paid to do homework) telling people how to turn on the computer, and how to save a document.

Working on A+/Net+ earning GEN Eds so I can transfer to PSU for a degree in IST.

Have worked as a part time on call tech for everything from a Senator to competing temp firms (got a warm reception at that site) not my fault I just showed up to work. Part time stay at home Dad. Trying to teach my 2yr old how to read my computer Forensics book hehehehe, he can read the cover, not many 2yr olds can say Computer and know what it is.(I am starting him young) :D:)

My other half is working on her JD (law degree) and MBA in Business.

I love my girlfriend

Advice for everyone=>NEVER ARGUE WITH A LAWYER! YOU WILL LOSE!

JD= degree in arguing :nod:

I previously worked in the shipping department of a power tools wholesaler for about 1 year. Now I work in the office keeping the computers up and running, also doing a bit of package design for the tools that we carry, and also answering questions for the people that dont have the techical know-how. Im not saying that i know it all, seeing as i never graduated high-school, but i took an interest in the PC when i helped build the CAD network in high school and never looked back. The office has about 20 pc's that i somewhat manage and am loving it. The job kinda fell into my lap after one of the graphics guys computer flopped on him after he installed another stick of ram, so i told him to bring it into the shop so i could look at it. I pulled the ram out, switched the slots, rechecked all his power leads, plugged it in and it fired up right away. An ITGraphics job opened up and he mentioned my name. :D

I do mechanical maintenance (Millwright) at US Steel Corporation ...i tattooed professionally for 11+ years, but retired from it last august..too many shops, lowball price shoppers and stupid teenagers finally got to me...

Working in the mill is pretty good, a bit dangerous at times, but it definitely has helped the wallet;)

I am going to attend computer school once i get off this horrible shift work...A+, Network+, CCNA, CCNP and MCSE...maybe work from home once i'm done
