^ Appreciates German engineering.

To me it just looks boring, like a family saloon with two less doors.. very shy. If it were cheese, it would be that awful stuff Americans melt over burgers.
-
I'm not a fan either, they're just pretentious. The 350Z is more of an honest Japanese muscle car, the Infiniti tries too hard to be luxurious and upscale.
It also happens to be a shed load cheaper and faster...
-
You'll want the side fans to be intakes. The more fresh air you can get into the case, the better.

Could be useful for some. FAHMon is still the best software for the job, it just gives you all the information you need.
-
I have good reason to suggest you buy neither of those. What you want is a Jaguar XJ.

Five whole seconds? Wow, that's work risking stability..
Windows load speed can have so many variations, it's not really a valid test.
-
The speed of your RAM doesn't matter so much with C2D, more benefit is gained from overclocking the FSB and core.
-
If you're not willing to do anything, enjoy your high temperatures.

Lucky man! Good luck with your job. Don't spend all your money on drugs and computers.

Most boards these days have some fan control built into the BIOS, you can either disable it or lower the threshold temperature to make the fan stay on all the time. With the stock cooler, it's probably best to lower the threshold temperature, because the fan is noisy at full speed.

Work appears to have been "done by apes".

We have a proper forum for this stuff.

You should overclock the CPU mostly anyway, that holds you back with these new cards. Even with a mild overclock (780mhz) on the HD4870, I'm getting the same PPD as you.

Shame to see a nice car get ruined, it's bad with Civics, but those are sort of... disposable.

This is good, at least the thread is being steered away from Logitech. My proposal was just a basic idea, the first thing that popped into my head. I have that Yamaha receiver, it's a good entry unit.
-
Allow me to explain a bit. Over the years, I've gone through several PC-specific sets, ranging from Altec Lansing to Logitech, they all disappoint in some way or other. Logitech's are boomy and the sats sound tinny, and the whole system starts to disintegrate after two years. Altec Lansing set I had before wasn't much better, as I remember they weren't quite loud enough to be pleasurable.
The best thing is just to start out with an entry-level receiver from Yamaha or Pioneer and some decent speakers, possibly with a subwoofer. Even in stereo, the sound is much more pleasing. You feel part of the action in any listening situation.
This is what I'm proposing you to get:
Receiver: http://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-RX-V361BL-5-1...5327&sr=1-8
Speakers (2.0) http://www.amazon.com/Polk-Audio-Two-Way-B...469&sr=1-10
Speakers (5.1) http://www.amazon.com/Polk-Audio-Channel-T...5626&sr=1-1
Either of those sets will be leaps and bounds above anything with Logitech scribbled on the front.
-
In terms of PC speaker sets, you won't find anything of real quality.
-
Other than drivers, what else have you tried? I thought my card was faulty as well, but it turned out to be how my RAM was set up.
Rather than arguing, you could do something productive and tell us the rest of your hardware and settings. With luck, someone will see the problem and tell you how to correct it.
-
High school, wasn't that last year? You're not old enough to separate yourself just yet. Your dad bought you a sportscar, that doesn't make you a man.
-
Unless you're willing to pay the exorbitant price, the P45 chipset is your best bet. Crossfire works fine with it, since it's PCI-E 2.0, x8 effectively performs like x16. Go with Gigabyte and the P45 chipset, you'll be saving some money and still getting what you want.

When will the American media give us real numbers? Never, then they'd be doing something extraordinary, telling the truth. They never do that, ever.
-
You've bought the right to play the game. I don't see problem with using a crack, if you've bought it. In this case, you're simply bypassing the annoyance that is the disc check.
-
I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a blunt dagger than play that.
