This thread is on a whole other level from the peanut butter thread.
Quite. I remember that one, shame it was lost during the server malarkey.

We provide advice when you describe the problem. Your post has failed to describe anything thus far.

Do you have to ask? Use a rubber.

Good job!

A good quality unit at 500w or 600w would keep you in the peak efficiency zone during games.

Overall, the Auzen X-Fi is the best card on the market today. It covers all the bases remarkably well. I've got one and I'm genuinely pleased with it. And it gets along with Vista x64. My only reservation is, if you're a bit of an audiophile, a lot of the extra gizmos in the software will go unused.
The HT Omega line of cards is pretty good, if the Auzen X-Fi is not within reach. In an audio sense, there is no reason to choose PCI-E over PCI. Which ever works out best for your system.

Will you primarily be using S/PDIF? If so, any old card will do, because the receiver handles all the processing.

You'll use standard RCA-type connections for the dock. Your amp will have plenty of those.

Could it be the worst case design.. in the world? I think it is.

Some 60s Ford, Fairlane, perhaps?

They do look like a fairly nice set. Not sure how low that subwoofer will go, doesn't look that big. Too bad they don't offer more specifications.

Mine's a permit.
Go to a dealership and try to buy a car with that.

Good choice, the Auzen X-Fi Prelude is the best choice for music, games and movies. I've got one and everything sounds amazing through it.

Don't worry, he knows what he's doing.
He's certainly pumping up economy. Provided he is actually paying for this stuff...

Shouldn't you be saving towards your future.. The "bling" is all well and good, but it does you no good if you're bankrupt at 21.

I'm concerned about this too, having bought one a few months back. Using it as a main drive, as well.

Dead set on ATI? You can get a 9800GT with your budget. Very potent card for gaming and folding, plus you save a bit of money.

If you're really into driving games, the G25 provides the best experience you're likely to get, within reason. While it's not exactly cheap, it is very high quality. I have one that's going strong for a couple of years now, just as responsive as when I got it.
I went through a bunch of the cheaper ones from other brands over the years, probably spent more than the cost of the G25. Never pleased with any of them. My advice is just go ahead and buy it now, save yourself the frustration of buying a different one every few months.
