gotcha...thanks for the quick reply

On the SPD tab it says for slots 1 and 2 are DDR
module size: 512 MB
Max bandwidth PC2300 (142MHz)
Manufacturer: Apacer Technology
-Timings Table-
Frequency 133 142
CAS Latency 2.0 2.5
RAS to CAS 3 3
RAS Precharge 3 3
Tras 6 7
on the memory tab...
Frequency 110.0
FSB:DRAM CPU/22
CAS Latency 2.0 clocks
RAS to CAS 2 clocks
Cycle Time 5 clocks
Bank Cycle time 7 clocks
command Rate 2T
DRAM idle Timer 16 clocks
So i would report it as being PC3200 w/ 2-2-5-7-2T correct?

I know that its old, I think I remember that post, but i was just saying that it reminded me of that video

How do you find out what your memory Timmings are set at...Im a n00b when it comes to memory, dont know that much about it, i need to learn more about it...
Also is there a way you could find out what brand of stick it is?
-
Using ClockGen, you can overclock the cpu more? I dont know much about using software to oc the computer, I have always done it through the bios...what do you guys think about using ClockGen to oc?

ORTHOS
in Benchmarks
ok thanks...
probably should have first
http://sp2004.fre3.com/download.htm
but now if anyone finds this post they will know where to get it...lol
When i run the Blend test (both CPU and Memory) will it just run forever or if its unstable will it fail or will it crash the computer?

ORTHOS
in Benchmarks

somewhat reminds me of this google video

i don't think that you are necessarily an OCC n00b but anyways...Welcome to OCC and have fun
-
But it should not cause a problem due to the fact that the solvent does not interrupt the flow of electricity
-
well could you imagine those indian people you can't understand in english trying to speak german!
That would be funny!
-
cool thanks for the link...and I dont think that all GPU fans cycle when first booted up, at least the one on my laptop does not...
-
so that program works with any type of motherboards? I could use it with my MSI neo2 plat. to figure out if my hdd is begining to fail?
-
good idea man...hope you figure out what the problem is
-
thats basically what i was saying, is basically like running speed fan and checking to see that all the information is correct, i wouldnt really call that a diganostic test however
-
All you have to do is call M$ and tell them that you have had to reformat due to virus and spyware problems and they will give you a new code or something...you should be fine...let us know what happens though
-
seems like you would get better help posting your problem here at occ than by calling dell...
-
i never knew you could run a diganostic on a cpu fan to see if its functioning properly, you can check to see if it is running faster or slower than you would prefer using speed fan which could tell you that there is a problem with it (if its going slower) but...just wow lol
-
i didnt think of that, good idea with the xtra car battery...
-
you could also look into some leds if you dont have the room for a cold cathode kit
http://xoxide.com/lazerled.html
they also have something called el wire, but its not something that will glow the entire inside of your case like the cold cathodes...
-
they also do not get that hot
-
Congrats man...I couldnt imagine having 4 kids...
-
thats crap...thats seriously like going to walmart and saying that they cant sell batteries becaue you can make a bomb out of it
-
Maybe if Hillary Clinton gets elected in '08 she will unban it...lol
