I would order that right now from xoxide, however they are out of stock...coolerguys has some in stock, would the all copper one make all that big of a differnce? I know the copper works better as far as getting the heat off the processor...

This reminds me of the time that I went to Belle Tire with a coupon for 49.99 break change per axle...they told me that that would work, however I need to get new everything on my breaks and i needed new shocks and struts and new tires...blah, i asked how much it would cost for everything that they said i needed and they wanted 1300.
I was confused by this because just 2.5 months before this i bought the car from a good dealership...
then i took the car to Nothwest Tire and Service and they said all i needed were new break pads and shoes, tire rotation, and something else, cant remember what it was, but the total came to only 250 after going to ceramic break pads in the front...I was happy about that...
I hate that businesses also pratice being scam artists...

Thanks for the quick and complete reply...i appreciate it...i have always been told that sandys oc pretty good, but i didnt know how the clawhammer stood up to the sand...thanks again

Which processor has a better overclocking potential...a AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Clawhammer or an AMD Athlon 64 3700+ Sandy?
They both are 2200MHz at stock speeds...reason I ask is because I have t he clawhammer and Raven65 has the Sandy up for sale at a resonable price ($59) shipped to me...so is there going to be a big speed increase or not?

Thats a bunch of crap that people will do that...and that sucks about the hardware killing virus hit your comp, what did it damage?

Here's something i whipped up...
even i'm not sure if i like it or not
I like that one too, it looks pretty good, but dang, I had to go searching all the way back to page 3 to figure out which one you were talking about...
Maybe the mods can start a new topic that is pined that is only for submissions and you can talk about it on this topic...that would make things a little bit easier

as do i but someone made a good point that if someone comes to the site and sees a burning cpu they will think that we are people who just fry all of our chips...
the cube is cool looking and i like OC^2 as well

I have always gone with 89 octane gas in my cars, never put 87 in mine just because you do get better mpg...
but lucky you on the bonus supercharger...

it is a shame that people will do that to other people expecially over a windows xp cd code what has the world come down to?

I noticed with vista I was unable to connect to the schools wireless network for 2 reasons, one vista did not like my Microsoft wireless adapter...and 2 the Cysco Clean Access Agent was not able to be installed on vista, only xp and 98...im sure something have been changed since RC1, but thats another reason I didnt like vista and uninstalled it...

you could do a y-spliter RCA cable and plug it into the onboard audio port, or if you have a soundcard just plug it into the audio port of the soundcard...
-
alright just to say, that is a very awesome build, it looks really good...i want it

I think when i get back from taking my math test in a little while, im going to take out 1 DVD-RW drive and put a hdd on that cable to see if it still runs into the problem and if i can still access the files on that hdd...thats where all my benchmarking software is, such as cpu-z, statbar, orthos...etc...
The only reason I put that HDD in was so I could easily do a dual boot of XP and Vista SP1 but once I went into vista I decided that was a bad idea so i formated the drive and just use it for extra storage of files...
So actually i was wrong about how long it has been in there for, its been in there since the release of SP1 (whenever that was cant remember)
Also i do not hear any clicking sounds coming from the drive, not sure if the jumpers are set properly on the back of the hdds, probably not...

I have 2 IDE drives in my computer, I have recently been running into problems with the Large Logo screen where you can enter the BIOS being extremely slow...
I figured out that if I disconnect the HDD that does not have the OS on it, it seems to boot fine...but with that HDD connected it takes forever to load...

LHDD w/o windows

mobo
Could it be that the HDD w/o windows is failing or is it because it is setup in the wrong spot on the IDE ribbon cable?
I have had it like this for about 2 months with no problems, it has just stated happenning about a week ago...thats why I believe that it is failing...

ORTHOS
in Benchmarks
Just set those settings, and it did work pretty good, thanks for that pointer nrg...also it doesn't slow down the machine at all if I run the CPU stress test

I don't know if this is what you are doing currently but there is probably a version of EMIII for unbuntu so just run that in the VMWare App. That might take care of the problem of monitoring the progress of the WU

Well if the onboard video fried, you wouldnt get to be able to see the Compaq screen so that wouldnt be what your problem was...I figured out that my problem is one of my HDDs is crapping out on me, thank god it was just my 40GB that i use for extra space...
i had the onboard video fried and then the onboard usb burnt out on me...but it was a crappy old mobo, but was my first one...poor thing
