OCC is picking up some good sponsor ship this year which will help me do more things for you guys. My goal is always to have as much hardware ads up over Google ads and such. What type of things does extra money bring to you the reader? Examples are the following: More Contests Better Prizes Newer games being benchmarked More Articles More Events attended by OCC staff Faster Server Donations from OCC for your own causes that you may be involved in. So basically all I am asking is if you see NVIDIA, Thermaltake or any other types of ads feel free to click them and see what is being linked too. You never know what you might learn or be able to win and also watch for different ads from the same companies, some ads are directed to certain pages. As always thanks for the support you guys do show OCC by coming here everyday, you guys are what keeps us going and us doing what we love to do play with hardware and sharing it all with you guys On another note would you guys be interested in raffle contests? Basically $5 or $10 gets you an entry for a really cool prize? This would also give me more cash to do more things for you guys, but I don't like taking money from you guys and I don't want to discourage you guys in anyway. But if its you guys might be interested in doing once in a while I might do it for kickass prizes. Let me know your thoughts and feedback. As in, if i click an Nvidia ad for like, 50 times in a row, will that help or is there some kind of "cool-down" before it gives you extra revenue? Most of the time these things are restricted to IP addresses, but not sure if it counts when someone else is doing it instead of the person who hosts the ad. Off-topic, you said ten times "guys". but there are girls on here too ;P If i can think of something that will fork in some funds, i will get back to this topic. I have checked some of them out from time to time before and I'm happy to be sure to do it now for the forum. But the one that bugs me is the pop-out add with sound on the front page, that thing is annoying as all hell. Fundraiser/raffle contests sound fine to me. I've donated before to sites I frequent when they asked for help, even without a raffle. Heck a raffle here is way better odds than a lottery ticket too and the moneys help a site I like so win win.
