Desperate for help with LP nF4 SLI-DR
FutureDFI replied to rye's topic in Processors, Motherboards and Memory
I would try mucker's settings but little loose like tcl=2.5 Trcd=4 Tras=8 Trp=4 and Tref = auto (3/10 bios) Also if above dont work I should try a install without RAID arrays to isolate the problem. (sorry i have no idea about RAID). -
I never had any issue with IDE nVidia drivers but a lot of blue screens with nVidia Network Manager and Firewall. If u have them (and using nVidia ethernet port) try unistall them or use Marvel one for a try.

Congratulations!!! It reminds me the old time back at late 80's when we design (and build) small microcomputers for specific jobs in college with Z-80 and 6502 (which remember Spectrum???) Excellent again.

Still can't run 3d mark 05
FutureDFI replied to Stevedub's topic in Processors, Motherboards and Memory
I u like to use your 20pin PSU (not reccomended by DFI) do it without adapter. As far for the bios. U can see the version when system boot up at bottom left side of the screen. If it says 1/25 u have to flash it to newest bios from DFI 3/10. -

I use Corsair XMS 4400 without any issues with 3/10 bios. Also many others (the most) do the same http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10929 -

Corsair DDR440 and Memtest problems.
FutureDFI replied to ghuraba's topic in Processors, Motherboards and Memory
Lets take it from scratch. Use the Orange slots. Vddr = 2.7 - 2.8 more not help at all in my case. Run some memtest on 310 bios with low multiplier-high FSB but keep the Vcore high, let say 1,250-1.300 X 123% = 1.54~1.60V. It doesnt going to hurt your CPU, dont worry. Also track temperatures on ur CPU while runnning Prime (i use speedfan for this). I keep my temps at 55-56 or lower(on load like prime). also at memory settings keep them at 2.5-4-4-8 Auto-Auto ...... but make sure u have tref at Auto and drive strength at L7 data drive strength at L4. Do some memtest and see which is the highest FSB u get without errors on #8 test at least for 10 times pass. (run only #8 test). Keep multiplier at 8 or lower. I had some "odd" situations like i was Prime stable for 2-3 hours and i fail memtest in few minutes  As far the blue screens, may it seems strange, but unistall nVidia network manager - firewall or use the Marvell ethernet port (assume u use them for the internet).
