Grumpy Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 I'm new to OCing my CPU, and was wondering if you guys just leave your rig OCed once you find a solid stable overclock or if you use the CMOS Reloaded to load a profile that is OCed only when you need it and leave it running at stock the rest of the time? I do this when I OC my vid card. I run an OC profile when I am gaming, and leave it at stock the rest of the time. Just wondering if it's the same with CPU OCing or if it doesn't make any difference. bread Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 If it's stable ... why not. I leave mine running all day everyday.

Guest Kronos Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 24/7 Please note that I have not pushed my system to it's limit yet. I'm at a comfortable OC and not an extreme OC
