Damn those are nice temp, I am thinking about stripping the IHS off my chip, since this is a pos chip anyway.

 

no chit, i feel like a failure with my temps, lol. wth is wrong with me.

 

is there a link on stripping the ish off? not that i think i'd do it.

Right at this moment, 30º C idle and 47º C load. I'm running with the side panel off of the case and it makes a huge difference. The XP-120 needs lots of fresh air in order to really work.

Oh, you crazy east coast, midwest, southern, northern...Northwest: 78 daytime, 55 at night. Now that's summer. :D

 

My 3700, 1.47 v-core (MBM) idle 32, load 45-48.

 

If we were talking P4, I'm sure you'd have some folks asking about heat sink contact, but that doesn't seem to be an issue with 939 or 754 boards.

 

Still, never hurts to double check.
