typer77 Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 Where does 80 Exhaust get its data? Am I supposed to plug the (top of the case) exhaust fan onto the mobo to get the reading? I didn't and it reads 13500 rpm as I start overclocking... thanks Jack
soundx98 Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 Fan Header #2 is where I have my 80mm Exhaust Fan plugged in. Fan Header #1 is my 120mm CPU Fan Fan Header #3 should always be your DFI Chipset Fan unless you changed it. What header is it plugged into and what sensor is it set to read. You may need to use the fan dividers to obtain a correct reading. @Flybye - I knew you were up to sumthin' Very Nice my Brutha

soundx98 Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 As always, thanks for keeping us updated Autochthon. Can I ask you to post your MBM5 dashboard when you have time to make it easier for us to understand. Any specific changes in the latest you'd like to comment on? Always value your input man. _xhp_ Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 RivaTuner's plugins are no longer hardcoded to be used with RivaTuner.exe host application. Now any application exporting required set of functions can use RivaTuner's hardware monitoring plugins. Interesting...
supershanks Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 Have Installed MBMDataFinal - Great work makes life easy But have a strange issue:- Have enabled CPU Usage & restarted MBM - Data is tracked in the logs I can make it appear in the system tray but it's not showing in the dashboard. Have tried enabling /disabling restarting CPU Usage & setting/resetting the display CPU usage in the dashboard screen. Have tried the display/don't display in dashboard omn other items - these work as expected. Any help appreciated. thanks
soundx98 Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 You MUST reboot after enabling it. There ARE issues displaying CPU Usage. For some reason it doesn't always seem to work. Alex Van Kaam suggested disabling it if you have issues (sometimes having it enabled will prevent MBM5 from starting).
supershanks Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 thanks soundx98 4 the quick reply. Pretty sure i had but just done again - no change. I was wondering if it's a display/dashboard issue. As I say the value is being read from Log:- CPU Usage0;23.00 %;0.00 %;80.00 %;9.49 %;
Autochthon Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 I'll throw in a couple of dashboards with all Rivatuner plugins activated top is at low speed bottom is with ATI tool running. Many of the reading are duplicates I've yet to figure how to change fan mutlipiler/divider settings in rivatuner so the "CpuFan RV" reading is 50% of actual. Rivatuner allows activation of multiple plugins the middle image shows the plugins I've activated for these sensor to be visible. The rightmost image shows the sensor readings from sysinfo.
