Rehit Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 i hang out over at the raptor pit a good bit. if anybody thinks we are going to mop the floor up with the guys hanging out over there... think again. i can hang around the top 20 in the bench threads over there. here is my last Geekbench run. 6538 good for 10th place at the Raptor Pit. I have not really messed with mine, I ran Geekbench once and a few 3DMarks when I got my 2nd V.C. road-runner Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 I want to order the x38 board but I am going to try to hold out as long as I can, maybe x48 will be out in time to submit stock scores.... Looks like it will be x38, x48 is delayed again... Intel has sent out a notice to inform partners that the X48 chipset delivery will be delayed to WW12, which is in March. No motherboard manufacturers will get chipsets before that and that includes the first tier like ASUS and Gigabyte. Although there is no reason provided by Intel in the notice but it is definitely not due to the 'one of the first-tier motherboard makers still holds a large volume of X38 chipset inventory' rumors. Doesn't look like the SuperPi Score has been calculated in that screenshot? If there are any glitches with the calculator, I need to get them ironed out before poeple start using it seriously.
