Turn on any news station and I'm sure you'll here some rediculous story about "STONER CARTOONS" and "ridiculous pranks" These "packages" which were thought to be bombs were actually a guerrilla advisement scheme by Turner Broadcasting to promote AQTF's new movie. They were little electronic LED units which depicted Ignignokt and Err from Aqua Teen Hunger Force!! OFFICIAL Adult Swim Forum Thread It is a misunderstanding. It wasn't even college kids. I was watching CNN and they read a statement from Turner Broadcasting where they pretty much admitted that they were responsible for this. It turns out the LED's were created by some guerrilla marketing firm they hired to advertise in cities all over the country. These things have been up for weeks though, why is everyone freaking out today?AGREED BOSTON IS SO FLIPPING PARANOID!!! What are your thoughts? Apparently, it's just Boston that can't tell the difference between a cartoon promo and a bomb. EVERYONE POINT AND LAUGH AT BOSTON!! They have been here for almost 3 weeks, has they been real bombs we would have lost Boston weeks ago. My first priority would be finding out who to fire... They say they saw 5-6 batteries on a circuit board and IMMEDIATELY shut down those area's, why not bring a small task force (to not cause panic) and actually examine the "BOMB" first? If this thing is really considered a bomb, then I hope my parents don't have my old Lite-Brite in their basement. They'd probably get the death-penalty...
