I have OCZ2P8001GK Platinum XTC 4-5-4-15 running at those timings at 417X9=3753 folding 24/7 on a DS3
Bleeble Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Yeah, it'll do over 400, but not by much. And then there's the fact that my computer emits a strange smell when I have it overclocked and let it run for long periods of time. I've thought about posting about it, but this smell is so completely different from anything else I've come across (including burning electronics ) that I simply can't describe it. I blame the mobo, but it works perfectly fine, so I dunno.

The only way I can get my DS3 to boot at 400 is set the bios to 8* 400 and then enter the bios again and change it to 9 then it will boot into windows. I can get it to 410, 1 time to 415 the rest is with easy tune.

I noticed a strange electrical like smell coming from my DS3 or the new video card I do not know which when I was OCing it and running benches for the wars.
