CPU: AMD (San Diego) Athlon 64bit 4000+ 939pin http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/in...oduct_uid=88106 Motherboard & GPU: Gigabyte GV-3D1 with GA-K8NXP-SLI. Geforce Dual 6600GT Chip http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/in...oduct_uid=85287 RAM:Cosair (TWINXP1024-3200C2) 1GB DDR PC3200 400MHz 184-pin (2 x 512mb kit) 2-3-3-6 http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/in...oduct_uid=87820 That leaves me well under budget, enough for a hdd, case, psu and maybe even another tft. Also some real ocer ram - G.Skill pc4800la seems like it owns all right now. Proc is good, but with $2700 you can do better then that mobo/ram . gunak87 Posted May 29, 2005 Posted May 29, 2005 I say get a different mobo, the DFI one mentioned above, then slap a 6800 Ultra or two 6800gts in it. Or wait a little longer until the next generation of video cards come out. I believ it's in the next month or two.
