Vasto Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc....-148-012&DEPA=0 Only $75 dollars. Only way to make it better is modular perhaps...

gunak87 Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 I got one of these about a month ago. I like it a lot. The only complaint that I have is that theres two leads with a lot of molex connectors on them, I'd rather have three with fewer on each lead. That being said, the molex connectors are spaced apart enough that hiding the extra ones, or connecting devices farther apart, is pretty easy. littleaznkid Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 isn't the flaps there to protect from metal to metal contact. because the capacitor might somehow jump the metal can conduct your case. for safety. but i like. the no "OFF" option sucks. I like. the heatsink on that sucker could have been larger.
Montol Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 isn't the flaps there to protect from metal to metal contact. because the capacitor might somehow jump the metal can conduct your case. for safety. 414853[/snapback] That's basically what I figured it'd be for. In reality, every other PSU I've owned has had the capacitors just as close, and no such thing has ever happened, so I'm thinking whatever it was, it was blocking my airflow and wasn't useful.
