I got one of these about a month ago. I like it a lot. The only complaint that I have is that theres two leads with a lot of molex connectors on them, I'd rather have three with fewer on each lead.

I agree, having 3 leads would have been better. That being said, the molex connectors are spaced apart enough that hiding the extra ones, or connecting devices farther apart, is pretty easy.

isn't the flaps there to protect from metal to metal contact. because the capacitor might somehow jump the metal can conduct your case. for safety.

 

but i like. the no "OFF" option sucks. I like. the heatsink on that sucker could have been larger.

That's basically what I figured it'd be for. In reality, every other PSU I've owned has had the capacitors just as close, and no such thing has ever happened, so I'm thinking whatever it was, it was blocking my airflow and wasn't useful.
