Well here I changed the LED inside a re-branded logitech mouse with a blue 5000 MCD!

 

 

 

 

 

Well, now time to do some writting ;)

nope, exact same preformance as when it was red amazingly, I tested this by playing some Red Faction :D

did you have to change the resistor out? blue leds use more volts than red's do

Nope no need to change the resistor, though the blue uses 3.5v and the red used 2.5 i think.

twas easy, just get some desoldering wick or something and get all the solder off, then just pop it out :)

I did somethign similar to that where i took an almost identical mouse and added another LED to it (a blue one) when the mouse was sitignthere it had ablue look to it then whenu moved turned red, i was amazed at how well it did untilthe blue LED blew out fromtoo much juice the way i had it hooked up lol.m Im too lazy to go and do it again so ill most likely stick with my plain old red led lol
