I have a friend who is looking to build a new pc. He currently has an old P4, 478 pin or something, well he has saved up some loot, so time to spend

 

This is what we are currently looking at(We are in South Africa so R#### can be divided by 7.8 for $####):

So far the biggest issue I see is your storage. You do not want to use a 3tb WD green drive as your boot drive, or even your storage drive. I would use an SSD for the boot drive, and if you can get one.....get a Seagate 3tb drive.

The rig is for gaming. Will change to the seagate 3tb.

Get one of those new Phanteks air cooler. They come in a variety of colors and they are better.

Pretty please go check out the prices at www.ikonicit.co.za they will save you a lot of cash, but other than that I'm not clued in enough to be ablemto recconment anything at this time.

For R26000 theres a lot you can buy, are you sure that is the budget ? If so, I have quite a few suggestions that I can post - Mainly that 3770K at a ripoff price of R6760, I got my 3930K for less !!
