I find it odd that so many people tolerate crashes / BSODs / whatever. Isn't the whole point of overclocking to get a fast, stable, machine? :lol:

I agree. I can spend weeks tweaking my OC until it's completely stable, even if it means giving up a few MHz.

 

i only reboot when the windows updates prompted me to and during installation of new programs/drivers and when i do get errors.

Or when Windows does it automatically while i'm asleep :glare:

I don't like to have my rig on when I'm not awake to supervise it. Who knows what kind of trouble the Internet could lure it into!

i went too high and broke my mobo, but it was one hell of a benchmark run lol

Desktop once a day

Laptop it goes to sleep but off...umm good question probably only when the battery goes dead flat

I've got my primary Win7 machine and Win7 HTPC auto-tasked to shutdown once every 24 hours. The server stays on 24/7 until I remember to reboot it which is usually once a month or less.

I dont have a set schedule. I usually restart it when an update requires it.

i voted once per month (guestimated)
