iluvstrats2 Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Amd am3 cpu currently. Was going to bulldozer but those flopped hard so more a reason for intel.

Have you thought about going 1155 or 2011 sockets instead of the older 1366. The new x79 boards already have teaser pics released my manufactures
Tjj226_Angel Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Yeah you should go with the 1155 socket. The 1366 socket is being phased out which sucks for me .

Boinker Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Asus p6t7 ws supercomputer. It would be my board of choice for 3 way sli or better. Speaking of I own one. Ita a great board. No draw backs that I can think of.
iluvstrats2 Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 May have to look at 2011 socket. Was looking at i7 980 or 970. Anything in particular I should look at?

iluvstrats2 Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Would the 4 gpu's total in both cards work on a 3way sli board? Wish I knew more about this stuff lol. Sandybridge e processors are looking pretty cool. I7 3930k maybe?
