Stonerboy779 Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 The bigass radiator is in push/pull too. There's a total of 12 Yate Loon 1350 rpm fans hanging off the two of them. As for CPU temps - no clue. The socket sensor says that the CPU stays a couple degrees above the water temperature but I don't trust it. I can't use the on-die sensors because I have the 4th core unlocked. The GPUs all stay at roughly 3-10 degrees over the water temperature. The water temperature is measured at the exit of the 4th GPU and I'm pretty sure it picks up some latent heat from the GPU block since the sensor is fairly close to the block. My water temps may very well be a bit lower than I am seeing. The pump is a single Laing D5 vario in a Koolance RP452-X2 reservoir / pump top. Even with all the crap in my loop it flows like crazy on setting 4. All of my blocks are relatively low restriction so that's not entirely unexpected. I'll hook the Kill-a-watt meter again at some point and let you know what the power consumption is. I doubt I'll be able to get the power draw as high as before with the GPUs staying so much cooler now. 12 Yates Loons, is that all, couldn't fit any more? High flow from low restriction and a good pump, that's the way and those temps are very nice. It's cooling well, as you would expect from a set up like this. wevsspot Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 i can see the reason for push pull on the rad but why fan rad box fan rad fan seem a wee bit redundant but does it really help The rad box gives you some extra clearance so you can run the various connections to rear i/o panel. Otherwise it would be completely blocked. Anyway, that's my experience when hanging a 220 or 320 off the backend.

It was a cheap and somewhat good looking way to hang the radiator a few inches off the back of my case while still retaining the rear exhaust fan's usefulness. Andrewr05 Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Wow, I don't know how I missed this before. That is an epic setup, so much heat dissipation area! Also, growlers FTW.
WhenKittensATK Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 (edited) What kind of tubing is that? Looks like rubber tubing used in a car or something like that. I think I'll have to add another radiator to my loop, but no room in the case, so it would be on the outside When I bought my case didn't think I was going to use watercooling, Rosewill Challenger (similar to NZXT Gamma). MJCRO Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 I'm so jealous, I'm waiting for my Koolance goodies to come in, I need to start looking for a radiator.
insan3 Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 This thread will go nowhere (I'll probably start a new one when I take GOOD pictures) but here's a taste of what I just put together...and yes, the picture sucks. Can you say WHERE THE HELL IS MY BULLDOZER with me? i will be doing the same when BD releases.

It's freaking nice stuff - though if you have a tight case I'd recommend getting the thicker-walled version. I have the 3/8" ID tubing with 1/2" OD and it's SUPER easy to work with but it does kink somewhat easily. Waco Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 (edited) Well BluePanda took some nice shots of my case today - here's what it looks like all put together. Eventually I'll find time to cut up the top PSU plate to make the rear of the case look nicer but for now it'll do till BULLDOZAH gets here.
