Tjj226_Angel Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 Really bulldozers are a joke. Period. The shared cache for each core results in something that isn't a true 8 core experience. In a lot of benchmarks out there back up that AMD is a joke. The latest Bulldozer release has something the is on par with the i7 950 or a i5 2500K. However, the price is very attractive, this still doesn't excuse the poor architecture of the chip and the complete bomb this chip will soon be known to be. Ivy Bridges will be a lot better, I just wish intel would release some information soon so we buyers can prepare ourselves for sticker shock.
