HD 5970 2GB for $250, should I buy it?

A guy is selling his HD 5970 2GB for $190 or better offer.

I told him $190 was too low, but I wouldn't buy it for more than $250.

My reasons:

1. It's a buy from Craigslist, but I asked to see it in working condition playing a game before buying.

2. No warranty

3. Still won't be as fast as my two overclocked GTX 460 1GB's in SLI (which, if I bought two a week ago, would have been $240)

However, I want to run tri-fire with my HD 5870 2GB. :P

What do you guys think? He took me up on the $250 offer.

If he was only asking 190 i woulda just bought it for that, lololol... I dunno, you better make sure nothing is wrong with it. But tri-fire with a 5870 would be nice, but wouldnt the memory of the 5970 limit the 2gb on the 5870? Since each core on the 5970 has its own 1gb doesnt it?

Yeah, I should have said $190, but I feel bad when I find too good of a deal. Damn my integrity!

Ah shucks, I didn't think of that. I thought HD 5970 2GB meants 2GB shared, not 1GB shared. I may have to re-think the deal.

You have interesting bargaining skills, but yes you should buy that card for $250 at this point.
