IVIYTH0S Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Damn this problem, I was REALLY tempted to get the 2500k while at Microcenter today (which is 40+ minutes away from my house)... I think I'd be just as happy with the 1366 machine.... maybe...
El_Capitan Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 I'm still happy with my LGA 1366. Though the i7 2x00k's pwn.
Voltes_5 Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 This thing really rocks. I'm running prime at 4.7/1.3vcore on air with an Ultra120. I've got two weeks to decide if I want a refund from the Egg. I'ma call Asus and confirm with them what their policy is, I might keep it and then go through Asus for a replacement or something later. ccokeman Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 If you do not use that many SATA devices you can just use the SATA 6Gbps connections and not worry about it!
Voltes_5 Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Yah, I only plan to get one SSD for this rig, its going to be my new gaming system so I will only need one for the ssd and one for the optical drive. Now that its still running 4.7/1.3 for more than 12 hrs., I may just keep it.

RogerDeath Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Anyone knows when the problem would be fixed and start shipping out motherboard? The motherboard manufatruers should have the chips now (and if not now, soon) so the current estimate for us getting the board is Late-Feb/Early-Mid March. That is about a month before the AMD bulldozer come out... Maybe I should wait and see the bulldozer performance...
