Which watch should I buy?

I cant decide which watch to get, so I want the opinion of OCC.

1st choice: Swiss Army ST 5000 Digital Compass

2nd choice: Swiss Army Night Vision II

Personally I am a Fan of the Chrono's.

 

Chrono Classic: Blue

 

Chrono Classic: Black

 

Chrono Classic: Titanium

 

I like the Blue the best.

Out of the two you have chosen I like the Digital Compass better, but I really hate that Black looking band it has.

Yea I'm not a fan of the band either. Those Chrono's, they operate by movement correct? Or is a battery required?

I have had two Seiko automatics (and, a third, which was my dad's). They've held up quite well.

I know the Chrono Classic Blue has a Battery, I would assume the rest of them do as well.

Just out of curiosity, why are you spending $600 on a watch? I understand getting a nice one but that seems a bit much for a watch.

The others were probably $150-200 retail price. The MSRP is a little deceptive, I think my current watch was about $450.

As Crazy_Nate was saying about the MSRP being deceptive, make sure you scout around for a watch you like.

 

While the Chrono peices from Swiss Army MSRP @ ~600.00 you can find them for 200+ at other stores and what not..

One thing I learned is never buy from the Company that makes the item. For some reason they hardly ever give deals and they almost always sell only at the MSRP of the item.

 

That Blue Chrono watch I actually almost picked up this summer for 380.00.

Well if you are any good at buying stuff on eBay get a kick butt used rolex.

18k/Stainless Rolex is a nice looking watch and if you are looking for a watch to impress someone get a Rolex man. Not many people can tell a nice rolex from any other so just get one that is affordable. No way anybody can really afford a new one though. I have always wanted one.

 

I don't know if swiss army watches hold there values but a Rolex really never does.

 

Edit: BTW be wary of fakes.

Nate, I love Seiko's, they are great value for money watches! My Black Monster is still running well
