LoArmistead Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 The US History Museum at the Smithsonian has a short video that plays in a theater in the "Price of Freedom" exhibit. It combines sad music with 9/11 footage, soldiers trying to keep it together after losing some of their own, letters to home written by dead soldiers read aloud, and quotes from Abraham Lincoln. I've been through it three times, and I've yet to be able to keep my eyes dry through a whole sitting. I can typically keep it together in a crowd, but that damn video just gets to me. I walk out of there drying my eyes, but I don't give a .. The images and the history behind everything in that video are just overwhelming.
