The problem is I have a life. A week or so ago she spent some time with the jerk and she has "feelings and stuff for him"... I think they hooked up and I think she was just bored with me. Good riddance, she was nothing but a big ball of insecurity and craziness. I found a girl I have been wanting to get closer too a couple weeks ago and now I don't have to feel bad about it. I'm gonna go get some STD screening first though... she said she was clean but if she hooked up with him before we broke up, well I'm screwed. cjloki Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 3 months doesn't mean anything to some people. if you were to ask a terminal cancer patient how he felt about another 3 months then chances are he'll think 3 months is a long time depending on his level of suffering/pain/enjoyment of life... on the other hand if you ask a youngster who has to wait 3 more months to get his/her drivers license if 3 months is a long time then it's likely that you'll hear that three months seems like an eternity...because of the pain of impatience as youth slips away... think of all the fun and enjoyment a person can have in 3 months if you go look for it...or a person could wallow in self pity then moan and bewail all that coulda/shoulda/woulda been "if only things were different"... lucky you, you get another opportunity to go have the good life without this pain invoking gf person dragging you down....you get to choose your pain level or your comfort level depending on your point of view... btw it seems to me your gf picker might be broken so maybe it's a good idea to stop using it and just be yourself....ftw cya cj Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
