Crawlerz246 Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 (edited) I am very veeery happy Super pi 1MB 08.877s 4616mhz on Air how can that be? what cooling? does it explode at 100% load? is HT off? what's yer highest temp? RobBan-Swe Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 (edited) You got the screendump im using Air cpucooler ThermalRight Ultra-120 eXtreme rev. C Super pi 1mb is a single thread application. not 100% load 100% load yes it will probably burn but i am not in the game for 100 % load. the contents is Super pi 1mb = very high mhz Highest temp i dont know, but it is 43.5c right now for 4510mhz and 1.53v ( not loading ) RobBan Edited March 1, 2010 by RobBan-Swe

RobBan-Swe Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 (edited) whould love to see your realtemp.exe ? Here it is with noloads an just a little minor voltage than 4637mhz And i dont fry my cpu with 100% loads,, dont like grilled chicken Edited March 2, 2010 by RobBan-Swe
Crawlerz246 Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 whould love to see your realtemp.exe ? Here it is with noloads an just a little minor voltage than 4637mhz And i dont fry my cpu with 100% loads,, dont like grilled chicken lol that's the whole point isn't it? I mean I'm getting the same idle/low load temps. but 100% load in prime95 gives me about 66-68, so I'd love to clock higher but unless I get WC that woun't be good for my health. RobBan-Swe Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 66-68, so I'd love to clock higher but unless ! You must overvoltage to get to 4600mhz-noload just to get it to work A the same time you can not run 100% load on the cpu it will fry. It all depends of what you want to do After lots of tests and crashes I can run CounterS now at 4400mhz working. And the reason is that the game dont use 100% of cpu there for i can use 1,45v 4400mhz and cpufan can handle the heat. 100% loads maby 4200-4300mhz 1.36-1.4v can work with Air ! You can do a lot of setups for each program 1 for games 2 for benchmarks and so on RobBan Sorry Road-Runner for the chit chat

RobBan-Swe Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 8.955... im gettin' there.. still learnin' this mobo i've hit my max vcore right now due to my cooling so now its about timings --for more voltage to cpu this give you the extra power-- Use fans on chipset: 1.34 to 1,38v on IOH Qpi/dram 1.40-1,43v RobBan
RobBan-Swe Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 (edited) cant wait for u to add a water cooling setup, 5ghz ??? Intel 920 with asus p6t se and dominator XMP 1600 is insane fast and the capability for 5000mhz on WC is extreme good Yes maby homemade Watercooling on my i7 RobBan Edited March 3, 2010 by RobBan-Swe
