Verran Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 lol You may want to think about resizing those... or at LEAST converting them to jpeg. BMP files are HUGE.

Andrewr05 Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 why..............?It is just common practice to not use bitmaps as their filesize to pixel size is outrageous.Plus the forum can not create a thumbnail preview of ".bmp" files. Waco Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 why..............? Bitmaps aren't compressed so they generally end up being quite a few times larger than compressed JPEGs or PNGs.

XxHellxRaizerxX Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 I don't really think you can see a difference between BMP and JPG. I know it's there but you really have to pick apart the picture to notice it to a degree that it may cause the picture to look diminished, and the file size of JPG compared to BMP is well worth it.
