crunchie Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Hi ppl. I am seriously considering upgrading to the new Deneb Phenom II 940 when it comes out, (depending on price) and was looking at the DFI LANPARTY-DK 790FXB-M2RSH AM2+ mobo. Any advice on memory to use with these? I was looking at the following: Team Dark or Corsair I want to be certain they will all play nice together . CheeseMan42 Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 I'd go for the Corsair. Never heard of Team Dark. Other brands I would trust include Mushkin, OCZ, G.Skill, and GeiL.
redtigerdragon Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 I'm a fan favorite of OCZ. I love the reaper and reaper x. It just looks so intimidating.
crunchie Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Team Dark is from Team Extreem. I normally run OCZ'z (having 3 ddr kits here) but they are about $50 more with slighly slower timings than the Team Dark set.
baz000ka j0e Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 I would go with Corsair or OCZ. I've also used gskill a few times and havent had any problems, gskill is usually cheaper and good for budget builds
