  1. The problem may lie with the RAM or the board. I have seen elsewhere where the board you are using cannot reach the Gskill factory specs. I am running the F3-16000CL7D-4GBFLS 7-9-7-24 Flares @ Factory specs with 1T on my GA-890FXA-UD5 board with no problem, so I wouldn't be so quick to blame the cpu . I would think that most ppl realised that Intel were ahead of the game here, but that price/performance or bang for buck went AMD's way. Just my 2 cents.

    Browser Wars

The compatibility part is the responsibility of the site, not the browser. Too many sites are written solely for IE. If they all followed the correct protocol's, no browser would have a problem.
  3. Team Dark is from Team Extreem. I normally run OCZ'z (having 3 ddr kits here) but they are about $50 more with slighly slower timings than the Team Dark set.
  4. Hi ppl. I am seriously considering upgrading to the new Deneb Phenom II 940 when it comes out, (depending on price) and was looking at the DFI LANPARTY-DK 790FXB-M2RSH AM2+ mobo. Any advice on memory to use with these? I was looking at the following: Team Dark or Corsair I want to be certain they will all play nice together .
  5. Problem solved. It ended up being that the shaders needed to have the frequency increased before I could go any further on the core. Seems to be about 2 to 1 that they need to run. In other words, in order for me to run the core at say 800Mhz, I need to already have the shaders set to a minimum 1600Mhz. If I set the shaders to 1000Mhz, I can then only get the core to run at 500Mhz or below.
  6. Accelero with turbo module FTW. Took my temps from 75C to 50C. Takes up 3 slots though.
  7. Hi guys. Brand new card with Accelero/turbo module installed, 55C max temps. Using Rivatuner 7.11 to OC. I seem to have hit a wall on the core. I can run at 745Mhz with no artifacts but when I try to go higher, it does not register, or stick. On the slider I can set it to 775 and apply the setting, but the OC does not show up in the monitoring tool, nor in ATiTool. Neither will read anything higher than 745, even though the slider shows different. I tried EVGA's Precision tool as well with the same results. As soon as I try to go above 745Mhz, the slider simply reset's to the previous highest setting (745). Sliders are unlinked. I can get the memory to 1150Mhz and the same thing happens, the slider just resets. Is there something in the registry that is preventing me going higher? Note that I am getting ZERO artifacts at the 745/1800/1150 settings. I have OC'd previously owned cards this same way and each card has artifacted when pushed too far. Stock speeds on this card are 600/1500/900 Thank's.
  8. Just a quick question. Is the 704-2bta bios the same as 07/06/2005 bios? I just flashed and that is what is showing at post.
  9. Thanks, but I actually wanted for my nF4 Ultra-D . Am going to be trying the 704 beta version as I have heard good things about it. Hopefully it will work ok with the first rig in my sig.
  10. Both of those links are dead. One has been suspended and the other says nobody is home . I am trying to find out if there is any info regarding what each bios is suitable for. Something like a changelog or something.
  11. Cheers. Is that this one? http://forums.overclockersclub.com/index.php?showtopic=80258
