Angry_Games Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 Ok kids, so you all see the new Speedfire theme (it is the default theme for everyone, even though the true default theme is plain crappy Vbulletin white/blue). You all see the Speedfire logo and the tires here's a contest for you Grand Prize: - (your choice) DFI Lanparty NF3 250Gb motherboard + OCZ Platinum 2x512MB PC4200 (TCCD's) DFI LanParty NF3 Ultra-D (socket939) motherboard + OCZ Platinum 2x512MB PC4200 (TCCD's) pretty decent prize eh? here's the contest... Download the Speedfire theme template or Speedfire PSD template and look at the layers. We need a killer graphic/logo in the same color theme as the Speedfire logo (but of course it needs to say DFI-Street), and then remove the tires and add in something...themed lol. Keep the tach/dashboard and the fire trails etc, just replace the Speedfire name logo and the tires with something...themed! (someone suggested changing the tach to Ghz instead of MPH and that's a killer idea also!) And I have got to get working on this competition!!! By the way Who's the judge? EDIT: You dont have the PSD of that toaster do you? Would be a lot easier to drop the background by clicking the eye than to cut it out. (2d vs 3d) What happened to the test logo, I thought the backdrop was actually pretty cool; I am not crazy about the color of the board in the foreground, but I do like how it "pops-out" at you in 3d. I think the logo would look better if the mobo in the background was in place of the foreground one and the background had some other design in it that's not so busy. I am not that great at actually working in photoshop, but maybe someone catches my drift and gets inspired. DISCLAIMER: These 2 pics aren't my work (people...)
