thefabe Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 At NCIX it's 287.74 to California nowThey report only having a few left more on the way nice 30.00 rebate as well good deal. Hey does anyone know if their is an additonal wait at zipzoomfly for processing a paypal payment? tthis NCIx says they take an additional 2 days to process a Paypal payment on top of the 1-2 day normal processing time. Hell if I waited 3 days to ship something I'd have people all over my butt. I'm hopeing mine gets here from the zip at least by the weekrnd. Feel like it's christmas. What do you bet these go for 300.00 soon? Instead of going down
LeeD Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 Some information I just came across when researching this card, http://www.evga.com/articles/317.asp http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cf...hreadid=1938002 http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=118140 Myself, I think it's obvious that these are just GTX cards that can't run the GTX speeds, but it seems there might be more to it. Fortunately they are covered under eVGA's lifetime warrenty!

Fortunately they are covered under eVGA's lifetime warrenty! Just ordered mine through NewEgg. I've had good experiences through NewEgg. They also seem to have their stuff together better than other folks in regards to shipping response, website navigation, customer support, and RMA process. Willing to pay that small premium for that piece of mind and reduced frustration (ex. Monarch). Don't care to risk somebody I've never used before like TigerDirect and go through the same crap I had to deal with like at Monarch. Evil-Fruits|R4z Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 Just ordered 2 MSI ones here in the UK. Just gonna OC them I think if the RAM speed matches GTX's then no point flashing BIOS I dont think. £350 for a top SLI setup = sweeeet! r4z
thefabe Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 EEhe mine is on it's way with Fedx yeehaw. i'd buy another one now but I have to either get a USB TV card or a USB modem I know still in the dark ages with dial-up. Can't give up my TV on my computer. and I know the cooling wfit with all 3 pci slots filled. I just5 watched a GTX go for 410 on e-bay seems like a lot of money to pay for 20mhz core clock and 320mhz memory clock
deeselcyde Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Is it still worth buying since these are supposedly faulty gtx cards that have been refurbished undervolted and have reduced memory
