Yeah, just be sure not to install the Daemon toolbar, I think thats what it's called.

I don't think I saw Skype on your list, good for talking to each other over the internet, apparently.

Some antispy-ware programs don't even list WhenU as a threat anymore, since its business practices eventually has changed to the better. Some simply list it as a minor annoyance, which is very easy to detect and delete if someone so wishes. And as Technodavan said it's optional to install it or not; it doesn't affect the use of the program. What you choose to do is another thing, but at least there's no reason to panic.

Couldn't resist to make a tip about this video/DVD player: Full Screen Player

Don't get scared if you click around and you see a strange alphabet; it's from a Russian site and the program has a Russian developer. It's a very good player with some innovative ideas and it will probably just get better. It's non-installation program in the sense that it's just a file to uncompress and you simply run it from the exe-file without any setup.

I recommend you to test if you're interested in freeware. I miss Xine when I'm using windows.

Wasn't there a time as well, when Mozilla had some malicious software running around under it's name. I remember getting a lot of Spyware and other crap on my system back in my P2P days *ahem* kazaa *ahem*.
