I have a lot of boxes and crap all over the place, motherboards, hard disks

In the bedroom where my rigs are there is the same mess.

There are enough parts in the room to build 2 new simple rigs

Often i think 'time to get rid of those boxes', but still they are in the room.

I'm Glad that i sleep in the other bedroom.

I can't believe someone else noticed that face! LOL

By sheer nature, being an engineer, I MUST keep a neat, organized space. It must be OCD sneaking up on me.

UncleDavid: Your bed is untidy, you have a mess on your dresser and I can see unorderly boxes inside the other cabinet. AND you have a Mac apple decal in plain site!!! Sheesh

When I'm doing a build or mod, it gets done on the "Kitichen table" - only the needed parts/tools migrate out there, return when done.

My "computer room/bedroom" (I sleep on a futon in the living room - HAR!) is semi-organized. The desk is organized, parts are segregated in boxes, tools live in a 2-drawer steel chest at all times so I know where everything is.

BUT - I also "organize by piles", so there's 3-4 piles of printouts on the floor all the time! Assorted dead stuff laying around in there also, presently 1x19" dead CRT, 1 nF2 rig with a dead AGP that needs to be ripped apart, etc..... I'm also a "box saver", although why I don't know!
